I LOVE uncon­ven­tio­nal radio. This is why I love the local Inter­net radio sta­tion–URL Radio . You pro­bably could have gues­sed it by the ad on the side of the blog. They aren’t paying me for the ad….I love their sta­tion so much, I’m adver­ti­sing for free, because I think more peo­ple should lis­ten!
Let me give you an exam­ple of what makes them so great—Friday mor­ning they had a count­down. Not just a count­down of artists in alpha­be­ti­cal order or anything lame like that. It was a count­down of Drug Addicts and Over­do­sers. I won’t spoil it all, but check out their list on Face­book

I’m espe­cially fond of “One-Hit-Wonders at 1” star­ting 1pm CDT every week­day) and “The Man Power hour” star­ting at 3pm CDT every week­day.
Mon­day they start broad­cas­ting from the Stur­gis bike rally. I won­der how the wet t-shirt cos­tume con­tests will trans­late over inter­net radio.
